My girlfriend’s dad is so abusive to his wife, and sometimes even my girlfriend and her sister. Well tonight was the talent show, and he was the host. He had asked me to sing a special song for him, I told him ok but it was a secret.
Well, he got up on stage and announced that my band was dedicating a special song to him, and made a joke about how proud he was…

That is about how abusivness never lasts and it all comes to an end sooner or later. He seemed mad at me, but I felt I had to get the message across somehow. I called my girlfriend and she said he came home, and went straight to bed. e didn’t fuss or anything just went to bed, then got up and apologized for all he had done…
So, was it a good thing we did that?
