I have two computers in my home lan. Internet Sharing works. Both computers show up in MSHome Networking Group.The shared computer can get into the folder of host computer but, the host computer can not get into the folders of the other computer. I get the “The network path was not found.” error.

open Network Connections by right clicking on My Network Places..
1. run the network setup wizard (run the Setup home/office network), be sure to turn on the file sharing and type same Workgroup name for both computers
2. restart if required
3. check both computers are using same subnet mask in TCP/IP properties (right click on the LAN in Network Connections)
4. once done, you will find your computer happily sitting there.. you can also search for the computer.. you can do it by typing Win + Ctrl + F

I am telling you the steps –
1. Right click on the desired folder .
2. select the property tab ,
3. select the sharing tab
4. click on the option saying – if you understand the risk — .
5. select the option – just eanble file sharing.
And there you go VOILA !!.
