I’m Hosting A Pampered Chef Party In Mid-october. Any Ideas For Simple Finger Foods/snacks?

I’ve only ever been to two. I was at one last night and she had fruit and fruit dip (marshmallow cream and yogurt), Reisen chocolates and lemonade. This was in addition to the pork Jamaican jerk salad the rep made.

Oh have fun with your show. I am a consultant and love it when hosts do more then rely on just me to provide all the food.
Chips and salsa is a good idea, finger sandwiches (just take a regular sandwich and cut it into 4), cupcakes, brownies, raw veggies with dip, and at my last show the host made a great little salad (it was just chicken, penne pasta mixed with some greens but not sure what she used).
Honestly I think from the many I have had and done finger foods are the easiest to deal with. For you and the guests :)
    Good luck and have fun!

U could try pary crossiants with chicken salad and maybe bibb lettuce on it. we have had this numerous times and it is delicious. also get party crossiants and buy ham and cheese and make sandwiches out of that. also i have a recipe for ham roll ups. get 2 lbs of cooked ham sliced thin, and 1 lg carton of softened cream cheese and 1 jar of small dill pickels. spread the cream cheese on the ham slice and line up 2 pickels end to end and cut them into bite size pieces. they are really good and so easy to make. u can get the best chicken salad at sams club and they also have the party crossinants..

You can serve bite size crackers topped with creamy herb mashed potatoes and sprinkle some cheese on top of it. Bake it. Serve it warm with non-alcoholic fruit punch or sweet iced tea.
I served it once for a casual tea party with my friends and they loved it.

These were tested at a ward picnic some time ago with great results.
Here are 3 that all use party rye:
    Cucumber snacks
    cocktail rye (party rye)
    1 package cream cheese
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1/2 packet ranch dressing mix
    peeled, cucumber sliced 1/4-1/3″ thick
Combine ranch mix, sour cream, and cream cheese. Mix thoroughly. Let stand for at least an hour, preferably overnight.
Spread mixture on rye bread and top with 1 cucumber slice
    Hanky-pankys
    loaf party rye
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 tsp sage
    1 32 oz. pkg. Velveeta
Mix sage, sausage, and hamburger. Brown.
While hot, add Velveeta and mix. Allow to cool slightly before spooning onto party rye.
    German Hanky-pankys
    loaf party rye
    1 lb. pork sausage
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1 onion, chopped
    1-2 cloves garlic, diced (optional)
    Dark mustard
    package sliced processed swiss cheese
    pickles (optional)
Mix sage, sausage, onion, and hamburger. Brown.
Arrange party rye topped with mustard (and pickle, if desired)
Spoon mixture onto party rye. Top with 1/2 slice swiss cheese.

Remember that having other “finger foods”/”snacks” at a Pampered Chef party isn’t necessary, but I’m sure the guests will appreciate it. The key for you is to keep it simple and cheap! I like the idea someone else had of checking with your rep and finding something to complement what she’s fixing!
Relax! It’s your party…you shouldn’t have to work too hard before it.

I would find out what the consultant is making and then do something that would compliment that item.

Chips and salsa are usually a hit.
How about taco dip? Spread cream cheese over a plate, then pour salsa on top. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and eat with salsa.
Pizza dip is similar. Cream cheese with pizza sauce, then sprinkle mozz cheese on top. Heat in oven only long enough to melt cheese on top. Serve with Ritz or Tollhouse crackers (not saltines).
